Can you tell me more about Tami Gee's Studio of Dance?

Tami Gee's Studio of Dance has been providing professional quality dance training since 1994 in a positive, nurturing and encouraging dance studio. We pride ourselves in knowing that each student is unique and we must understand their individual personality, learning style and dance training goals, so they can train and grow into the very best dancer they strive to be. Our instructors at our dance studio are dedicated skilled professionals and love sharing their knowledge and passion for dance with their students. Tami Gee's Studio of Dance offers dance training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical, modern, leaps & turns, and acro. At our dance studio, classes are divided according to age and training level and meet the needs of dancers age 3 through adult, along with beginner through advanced level classes. Our dance studio also has an award winning competitive dance company - COMPANY*T. Here at our dance studio we love providing our customers with personal attention, so do not hesitate to contact us as we look forward to helping you and welcoming you into our Tami Gee's Studio of Dance family.
What are the studio policies?
- All Dancers MUST wear proper dance attire to each class! (see Dress Code)
- NO Eating or gum chewing allowed in the DANCE ROOMS.
- Chairs are for sitting… Please use lockers for dance bags, shoes, jackets, etc.
- While taking class, cell phones may not be used and should be set to vibrating mode.
- Please be prompt. If your dancer is late and misses any or all of the warm-up, instead of participating in the class, he or she may have to observe the class. Lateness is not only disruptive to the class, but also unsafe for the dancer.
- Please clean up after yourselves and your young children (especially cookies and cereal crumbs in the waiting area that end up on dancers’ shoes and on our dance floor).
- Do not allow children to stand on the chairs, run up and down or play in the hallway. (This includes siblings)
- The back area is designed as a quiet lounge and homework area.
- For the safety of all dancers, please walk them to the studio and pick them up outside of the studio after class.
- Do not wear your dance shoes outside of the studio.
- Do not wear street shoes (including parents) into the classrooms.
- NO parking in the back of the building or along the curbs (back & side) – This is employee parking only for ALL businesses of the building. Parking is on the side of the building, side next to post office or front of Food Lion.
